usual as in manifold induction kit n aw that pish would it cost much to get an xe to 200bhp?

to build a reliable xe with some headwork, flattop pistons, arp bolts, cams from blanks...not regrinds, verniers and balanced then add tbs or carbs and ex manifold to support engine it could make near 220bhp would be just under £1900 for the long motor. obv go cheaper but thats inc labour for stripping, building, machining etc too.

Sounds cheap! For all those mods...would have thought parts alone would be around that price.

i get abit of discount as im registered as a business + as i only build engines as a sideline i dont have over heads as such so you dont get a £500+labour bill to just put engine together, i know some companies charge £1500+vat to build an xe!!
