Thinking of buying one of these as it has come up very cheap.
It's a '72 1300cc, running great, drives well, has been restored not sure how long ago though.
Is there much interest in these atm? I would be looking around £850 for it, is that reasonable?

Seats look like there out of a mk1 Astra!
Looks ok but why the ride height like that?
There is a lot of places they rot. Mainly front clip, water channels, bottom of doors as long as there all good it's a ok price.

provided the body, floorpans, heater channels are sound thats a decent price. wheels are awful and so is the interior. put that back to standard and you could easily get 2k for it
i want another

It's not a 1303. They have a lot bigger rear lights.

far from a 1303.
could possibly be a 1302 but its not. it has a 1200 decklid and earlier lights so its a production line change over if anything ( thats if parts are all original and correct) which isnt likely

most of my friends own Beetles, One has a '76 Jeans, his missus has a cali beetle and a Wizard and her brother has a stripped down, de-arched drag beetle. Been to BugJam for the past 3 years and its always a good laugh, getting there at 55 all the way is tiring though

Bought it today for 400 quid
Its not to bad underneath would probaly need a patch under the back seat. At the end of the water channels is rather bad looking because of the rust.
Heres a few pics, uploading some of the underbody at the minute.

Well worth the money.

Yeh I bought it off my dad's friend, i put up that ad for him, then he was stuck for money and he took 400
He did pay over 1k when he bought it though, so ill just be looking a quick sale tbh could be worth alot more to the right person though.
