wonder if that would ever take off it they made the device smaller, sounds pretty cool but i cant really see it removing keyboards/monitors.

You can already get a keyboard like this. Its a little stick thing and it shines a keyboard onto the table, surface you are using etc. It senses your movements and types on the screen like any normal keyboard.
