anyone go to this? 2nd largest bonfire in the country, and quite a unique event tbh

some pics







then the guy fawkes with a cadets band lead a procession where the public followed and were handed lit torches





this walk lasted about an hour round the country roads of brockham before ending up back at the bonfire where the guy gets hoisted to the top







people with torches then circled the fire and chucked theres on to light









the guy was filled with 2000 crow scarers and when the flames got to him i wont lie i had to cover my ears ridiculously loud like hundreds of shotguns going off at once.

then the £50k fireworks display

best display iv ever seen tbh, if you didnt know what was going on though it did look like some massive satanic ritual going on all them people marching about with lit flames some in costume etc

Looks a bit more professional than the one they had at the village pub i was at last night.

A firework went up, didnt explode, landed about 30cms away from us, exploded and set my mates fleece on fire
