just been down to get the lass a cheesey chips and it was squeaking like a mouse... got louder and louder...
rear wheel bearing has shit the bed... cant rember the last time i had ine off a corsa...

so i got the split pin out, the washer behind and bits of broken bearing but whats holding the drum on now??
cant see a thing cos its dark and i dont have a torch...
need the car for tomorrow

help please

nowt. if its stuck it`ll be the pads pushing out onto the inside of the drum mate

The castle, the washer, the bearing.

If the bearing has failed the car is resting on the broken bearing and the stub axle with play in all directions. No possible way you're using that.

if so

castle nuts off... washer behind thats off, hand brakes not on and the drum rotates freely but i wont come off.... just gave it a twatting there but the neighbours curtans are twitching... getting a bit late to be making noise

wey the one side which give me a chew on was due to the shoe grabbing the drum when i tried to get it off. it come off eventually but i had to perceiver. dont go scudding it with a hammer though lol

this drum is well and truly stuck on... got a tiny bit of a wobble but if i hit it much more im going to need a new drum

gotta get shit showered and shaved before work now... hope the granny next door can give uz a lift

any other suggestions to get it off??

Bolt the wheel back on so you can get a bit of leverage, should come off with a big of jiggling.

Whack fuck out of the drum at 2 o'clock then 8, 4 then 10 with a 2lb hammer then just pull like fuck. Pushes the shoes in a bit and doesn't do any damage.

Dont do that. Put the wheel back on and grip the wheel. Then pull the wheel and it should come off like that.
