Picked mine up this morning, a mate went in Sainsburys last night and the pre-order queue was about 20-30 deep , the queue at the till where you could just pick it up was 3 deep

How far have you got? I've done the first delta mission and that's it. Half hour left at work then will be aiming to finish the campaign tonight and get on the multi player carnage/me getting abused

Not had a purchased Call of Duty before, usually play FIFA and thats about it on my PS3! Where's the best place to start if I want to get into it? Worth buying this one or just getting an older version for now and then upgrading to this in a couple of months when i've got the hang of it?

Only played the multiplayer and im kinda on the fence. Loved it to begin with but got more and more angry at it as i played.
Its almost the same as MW2... LOADS of quick scoping... loads of inconsistant shotting.... i.e i shot someone in the back and they have time to turn around, reload a clip and still take me out and dont get me started on the spawning, its a joke. I played domination and was getting destroyed by people who i was spawning literally 5 feet away from!
On the plus side is the sound... the guns sound fantastic and i actually like the killstreak system.
Anyway... tired... and thats my 2p worth.

Agree with the inconsistant shooting, was winding me up this morning
Guns/effects sound brilliant especially with surround sound, you feel like you're there.
Quite liked the campaign but not the ending, felt the story could have done with a bit more.
And westminster station is nothing like they show in the campaign! but I guess that could be seen as a security issue.
