Trying to sell a 9ct gold chain on GumTree, had a lot of interest at £100 but being told it cant be real at that price as it looks like a heavy chain and I wouldnt sell it at that price, whats a good way of working out what its worth? I know for a fact 110% its genuine was bought as a present from a reputable jeweller in Liverpool about 7 years ago and has been sat in a box not worn ever since.

They offered me £30 at scrap and £70 for a bracelet that was £500 7 years ago, rather keep them in me draw doin nothin than let them go for that price.
Just found this which is the same length and width as the one I've got, seems the price has shot up!

Investment reasons? With inflation etc atm its a lot easier to invest money in gold rather than anything else as its very stable?
