AG SRP and Collinite 845 wax. No point in having a £100 wax in a fancy pot when it all looks the same when its on the car. May as well go for durability so you don't have to do it as often.

AG SRP and DoDo juice Hard candy. Thinking of using Wolfs body wrap instead though, sounds/looks very good.

Just used collinite for first time, amazing results, pain in the ass to wipe off (maybe I left on for too long) but worth it!

Don't leave the collinite on for any longer than a couple of panels, I made that mistake the first time and took me forever to get it off.

You should be putting a tiny amount on your pad, do a panel at a time, then wipe it off after about 30 seconds. A small amount goes a long way.

Also wet the pad in warm water first then wring it out so it's damp but not actually dripping.

Is that the same with any wax?
Was hard work getting the dodo juice wax of mine, I waxed the whole car and then went back and started removing, was bloody hard work.

No.
Collinite - just ignore what it says on the tin - apply to a panel at a time and buff off immediately. Spit shine with a bit of quick detailer if necessary too. Use very little per panel, and make the foam applicator damp with a small amount of water or a mist of QD.
Most other carnauba waxes - apply to whole car in a very thin layer, leave to haze for around 15 - 20 mins minimum, if not longer this time of the year, then buff off a panel at a time.
All of you talking about using Wolfs Body Wrap - it's not just something you can pick up and use tbh - it's very fussy as to what it will adhere to - if you use AG SRP for example, it won't last anywhere near as long as it should, and runs the risk of reacting with oils from that polish and gassing. Technically it's a sealant that should only be applied to machine polished panels that have then been given an IPA wipedown to remove any excess polishing oils. If you IPA paintwork that's been polished with SRP, you may as well have not bothered polishing it in the first place!
In regards to what I use - depends on the car, I predominantly use sealants rather than waxes these days - anything from Chemical Guys Blacklight, to Zaino, Wolfs Body Wrap, and currently trialling a couple of Crystal Lacquer sealants too.

Yup IPA'd surfaces otherwise the "nano monkeys" wont be as effective. At the end of it found it time consuming and not worth the agro

Are these "Wolf's" products the latest bandwagon of the detailing world?
