The same end bearing gone as it does on all of them.

I'm sure I read somewhere that a failure of this was possibly due to the fact that all the gears go through this one bearing or something like that.

Fingers crossed 65k, mine still feels nice and strong, no slack and no whineing yet.

How much would you charge to fix that? So so I can bear it in mind when mine eventually goes.

£395 for complete job with decent gear oil (millers fully syn)

mines on 106k, still going strong

thay was the bearing in my f17cr that gave way and blew the box to shreds in germany this year

I was £1360 for a replacement 4th gear, clutch cylinder, bearings and diff pin.

most gearboxs will have an input shaft bearing and output shaft bearing, same as this, obv plus the diff bearings.

So all gears will utilize the same bearing(s) yes as they are all on the same shaft, but this isnt unique to the M32, its a pretty standard setup.

IMO its due to shit manufacturing of the casing where the races are housed
