they moved into the "community". Basically opened 10 places around the county with a small number of beds as the care is better for patients, then realised its more expensive for us, so we are probably reopening it, with a refurb obviously, and renting the buildings we bought out to GP's/ use for other community clinics (physio, stop smoking clinics etc)

Some posh guy would pay hundreds of pounds to have it refurbished and put in his house though.

In Oxford they built a big new ward, completely fitted out with loads of equipment and everything, then decided that the patient rooms were slightly too small so it has been left for something like 5 years iirc. Someone decided it's been sat long enough so they're going to knock some walls though to make double rooms and then open it
Someone from my place went to survey it and said that all the equipment was still covered in plastic sheeting etc from where it's never been used.

no wonder they end up cutting hospitals funding back when they are wasting money like that.

Exactly. It's crazy how they managed to go through the whole design process and then decide after it was built that the rooms were too small. It would have been put through countless meetings, so how come nobody have noticed earlier?

Thing is aswell. They spent several million on a new ward on the same site last couple of years. There must be 1000's of feet of space in that part of the hospital.

Would rather look at old hospital pictures than a corsa with 84 doors tbh.
Will you be getting pics of other rooms and wards? Night time pics as well?

Any of those beds with the blood drains?
A video looking down a long hall would be cool especially at night with the flash light etc

Fuck off not happening.
It's been used in a film recently, and everyone who works on site says they've heard footsteps on the upper floors even though the place is empty.
