What is that about 400 C?
Max operating temp on them is about 700 I think.
Still don't know where you do this on a public road.

I was about to say that before I remembered that doing that on a Fabia cuts the fuel, unless he's had it mapped out.

LOL you GUYS
to get that photo it was just braking from 120mph -> 60mph, the same you'd do on track. on bedford i got to 125mph down the straight and was braking a lot harder than last night...
i dont see how a big brake kit would be killed by doing it, if that was the case then they wouldn't be up for track use.
and no u cant drive braking + accelerating, it cuts out
also i dont see whats unfair about braking like that on a dead motorway at 2-3am. couldnt see anyone in distance or in my mirrors. when braking u can take ur hands off steering wheel, its perfectly straight and just comes to a fast stop
only reason we done it was cus my mate said fuck when u brake ur brakes glow BRIGHT red, so he said do it again ill get a pic... job done
i thought it looked cool anyway, gunna get the SLR out and try again though, he said this one doesnt do it justice at all, said it lights up the entire wheel
intrestingly though, u can see its bright red as it leaves the calliper and by the time the disc has rotated back round to enter the calliper again its a lot dimmer.
so i really do believe it cools quickly. its not like i was driving for miles and the discs were glowing randomly..
btw track use is what killed by EBC discs on my brembo's. after bedford they were juddery as fuck. they were fine on the road but these r a lot better

For once I'm going to defend him and say if anyone else posted this, it would be cool. If it truly is from a dead of night heavy braking session then it's doing no harm really.
