Just a thought
If i bought a pile of shit car say a nova, fiesta say nothing over a 1.1
Insured it fully comp

Arnt i allowed to drive any other car thrid party only ie my GSI

Basically what im going to do if possible is buy a car at about 50 quid insure it fully comp And drive my Gsi i wud still be covered but thrid party only

Only thing i after worry about is me crashing in to someone
It will never get knicked Cos its disc locked, alarmed the lot !!

Is this possible

No, you are only insured on it if there is someone else insured on it.

no the other car still have to be insured

and then ur only driving it on third party only

Your dad would have to be insured on the your GSi, and you would have to be FC on the pile of shit for it to be legal.

But if it got stolen when you were driving it, or if you crashed into someone you would only be insured 3rd party.

some insurance companies dont allow you to drive a higher cc engine than the one you are insured on, think about it if everyone would be doin it! There would be loadsa trouble lol!
