Apparently close to signing as third driver for Lotus, mainly as a Friday or replacement driver but long term wants to be on the grid 2013.

Tbf, she's a lot better than some of fugs that get posted in the Facebook fitty thread
But as a driver, I'm surprised Renault are even giving her a look in. She's not exactly premium talent compared to what else is out there in the lower Formulas, plus she's in her 30's which will near enough guarantee her a short career in F1.
Perhaps Renault are hoping to do an Indycar, ie: Danica Patrick (terrible driver ), and get a bit of totty onto the grid; certainly would bring in the 'punters' and sponsorship.
As for future female F1 drivers, Alice Powell is the one to be looking out for considering she's doing a blinding job in Formula Renault.
Mark Wright - VBH is getting on a bit but i wouldn't say she is fugly.

lets hope she never wins a race or has to pit, parking the car might prove difficult

VBH would get pumped all roads. 'she' looks a bit like a bloke with a wig.
Probably still would right enough but imagine her gooch after a race. Fuck me.

She used to race against us in Superleauge Formula and she was shockingly slow! She did the first round this season and then got dropped. She has a reputation in the paddock for being quite off the pace too. Nice girl though

I refuse to believe a guy off Corsasport is quicker on track than a prospective F1 driver

Dunno if its been mentioned but I remember in the 90's there was a female F1 driver, I think she only managed a season though.

From what I can remember I don't think she even started a race.

She started 3 races for Brabham in 1992.

Entered 3, seems she failed to qualify in any of them.

The sink, ironing board and washing machine were slowing her car down IIRC
