We are off to The Convention Centre in Southport to a Party Night with about another 300 people. 3 course meal, band, DJ until 1am and free drinks vouchers included. Its fully paid for but no partners allowed.
I'm driving this year tho as I can't be arsed with a hangover, and i'm a liability when drunk  . Company offered me a room in the Ramada hotel next door for free which they do for the staff who live furthest away but I declined.
Should be pretty good tbh. Even when sober i'll still be trying to throw shapes on the dancefloor etc.

We get to stick a night out, meal drinks plus accommodation and travel on our corporate credit cards doing something festive......but no one could be bothered arranging anything

Similar deal with us in 2 weeks at a posh 5 star in Ascot, got shitted big there last year with the free booze, was a right laugh

We've booked out the Royal Armories in Leeds for ours. We have about 300 going IIRC. Last year was a free bar, although, because the company is having money issues, and we've just laid some people off, i have a feeling that it wont be a free one this year. I dont drink anyway, so it isnt an issue for me.
We also get the option to stay over, and the company has booked out the Holiday Inn across the road. Like last year, i wont be staying over. I dont like most of the people i work with, so i'm driving back home afterwards.
