Bean's with mash, the other component of the mean is irrelevant.

Would rather have beans with sausages but gravy with mash
I'm not a fan of mash though TBH

Either's good for me - Sausage, mash peas and gravy or sausage, mash, beans and a bit of red sauce.

Sorry, sausage and mash goes with onion gravy - end of. That is the definition of proper british bangers n mash
Beans and peas with it is just plain weird in any case

I've never heard of it with beans. Is this one of these regional things again

I found beans and mash to be a Northern 'thing', where as peas and mash is Southern. Either way, got to have some form of 'veg' with it.

If it's cheesy mash, then has to have fried onions in too. Not as nice as horseradish mash though

Mash without gravy is a cardinal sin.
