Pay higher taxes when wages stay the same and everything around us gets more expensive? get to fuck, maybe if the government didn't give so much away in foreign aid each year they could plow it back in to the system and do some good on our own soil.

Why should folk happily pay more tax and have to go without / struggle more to support those that cannot be bothered to work though. The working man is punished in the UK whereas scroungers and layabouts are rewarded.

If it's that easy wouldn't all the "working man" just go and sign on ?
Living on some grey council estate which a bunch of druggies and loud neighbours isn't my idea of a reward.
A lot of the uk taxes go in to arms production and export, no one ever moans about that because it makes an income, when you look at the top importers which are countries like India and South Korea, it's okay to sell murder as long as we are making something from it, people just moaning about others on benifits all day long isn't solving anything.
If you rather grow up in a country that left people to die on the streets then you should go to some where like Dubai.

Look at Kadafi ! 5 million worth of riot gear we sold, how did he use it ? To suppress his own people.
Israel is a good example to, we must be selling them crates of tetley tea for 20 million a year, you know they like a good brew.

I don't know if this is the case or not but I seem to remember back in Australia if you migrated to the country you couldn't claim benefits or get Medicare for at least 3 years, and needed to provide the government with evidence of who was going to sponsor your stay in the country until you got a job or whatever.
Something like that would work well here - discourages people moving to the UK with the sole purpose of claiming benefits/housing/begging on the street for extra money and keep the racists happy too as (bad) immigration would drop.
The UK makes it too easy for every man and his dog to move here and be well looked after whilst the working man/woman has to pay for both themselves and the scroungers of our society.
It would also help if we didn't vote in such a retarded government but hey, why is Britain going to change the habit of a lifetime.

Selling weapons to dictators isn't a worry most people have, especially when we are bombarded every day with how bad the economy and living conditions will be for the next 50 years.
Billy on the dole with the new plasma and fancy car while living in a free house directly takes money away from Joe Bloggs paying tax while his living conditions are going down.
Not difficult to work out.

Go and sign on then if it's that bad or stop paying your taxes and protest about it.
We British are the best to moan about something and do nothing about it.
Pointless if we all moan about people claiming and then go to work 9 hours a day and pay taxes, feeding the system in some way.

I'm not moaning about it, I'm telling you waht Joe Bloggs is moaning about.
I'd stop paying my taxes if I could get away with it without being jailed, which would happen because I'm a mostly law abiding person.
I'm not British either thanks.

There isn't such a thing as an English nationality though.
Yes you may be English as you were born in England, but for nationality purposes you are still British and there's nothing you can do about it (apart from immigrate outside the UK)...
