Jim (3CM) mentioned this in passing the other day and it got me thinking.

A few years ago there was loads of them around but I bet they're all gone these days.

What is out there that we know of?

I remember;

EDS/Regal's Nova C20LETx2
Ian Birch (Dubsport) mk3 Golf VR6Tx2
I'm sure he also had a couple of mk1 Golfs, one with a pair of 16v engines and one with 2 vr6s IIRC?
There was a red Renault 5GTT
Bright green Escort RST which later became a pickup?
Mini with 2 proper Mini engines in it

Then more recently;

That Lupo with 2 24v VR6s
Beardy's Corsa
Ian Birch had a Caddy with 2 S3 engines
205 Mi32 turbo

Anyone got any pics or info on any of them?

i always remember from years ago a mag feature with a bloke/company that had two golfs, mk1 or mk2 i can't remember.

Also am sure one was twin engine, i remember them being crazy and the feature was done on a track day and the comments said they got black flagged for dangerous driving.

really want to find out the two cars, it was easily over 10yrs ago

One was bright green the other bright orange

If the green one is the one you mean, the orange one was it's 'sister car'

Although, I think we're both confused, that was just a 3.1 VR6T in the back, nothing in the front.

Apparently they also built a twin VR6 engine'd Rallye which ended up in America
