I lad I know in Chester has one, uses it daily!

Not been into them, I didn't realise the rareity of them, or value. That's insane.

There's also body kits you can buy, so I'd be dubious if someone had one anyway.

Failure in understanding what this car is / what this car represents = an admission that you're not a petrolhead.
Simples.
This is dream garage material.

I've driven one, acceleration from standing was unbelievable. Definitely the one to have if you can find/afford it.

I've seen quite a few. My brother has detailed 2 and there was another one which used to drive around the area.

The coolest, but not the best.

280bhp standard iirc, not that much more than a standard STI.

rumoured 280bhp, however they always make upto and around 340! it was something to do with claimed power figured from japan and meeting requirements however nearly all 22b made upto 350hp which is mad.

Yeah they do this with alot of cars out there, have to meet there regulations but its always a book figure and alot of the time no where near the actual figure

Only 16 of the 400 are official UK models.

Colin Mcrae had one, clip on youtube somewhere of him driving it on fith gear or similar tv show. Famous sultan from somewhere had one for his private collection and I believe the head of prodrive at the time had 1.

Im sure they never made a number 13, so there were really only 12 up for grabs in UK spec, so a rare car indeed

After reading on Wikipedia it seems Mcrae and Nicky Grist and David Lapworths cars were all numbered 000, bit of useless trivia for someone on a friday night.

True say...... 22b doesn't mean 2.2, it's the hex.

What my mate says anyway, he has an Ibiza TDI
