Woke up in the night to a BANG looked outside and a taxi had hit my mates car and buggered off! got a quick look at the taxi logo's on the side looked like a local town taxi company, also found a skoda fabia VRS fog light surround on floor near his car! Police are saying there isnt much they can do "apparently they have spoken to taxi companys" and he will probably have to claim on his insurance but we have proof of what car it was and i know its eitha of 2 taxi companys from town because it was there colours on the sign! is there anything else we can do to find the driver? we ring the taxi companys but they are just foreign and pretend they dont know what we are talking about but i think they will protect there drivers!

Cheers

Not exactly a slight bump! Go down to the taxi ranks and look for the car with the damage on then wait for the driver to turn up.

Guess the only thing you could do would be to look out for it then. Cant really go into them making accusations because they will just say you are full of shit.

I thought Octavia, but googled them and cant see any with that grille. I think VW Polos use the same fog lights, but i don't know if the grille is the same, too.
