Hi all just bought a corsa 1.8 sri. But the front tyres are done. Was goin to go buy some pradas but they dont make them in the right size :/ any one be able to recomend tyres that are just as good? The tyre size is 195/45/16 but i could live with them bein a 195/50/16

i like falkens good in wet and dry transformed my corsa c from the crap ones i had on b4
another would be toyo proxes there the only 2 id ever use falkens bein my 1st choice

I liked the original Dunlops on mine. Not a bad price either from Camskill.

I tried proxies after the Dunlops, admittedly it was the older T1-S versions (which some rated better) and I didn't like them in the wet/cold as much as the Dunlops. The dry they were on par.

for grip yes, i agree mate. they aren't half bad but the side walls feel thin to me... even when your rocking 40psi they feel a little flat when cornering imo
got the ones i got on now cheap so will get the life out of them then i think im going to khumos again


if you want a set of tyres to last you ages but possibly kill you when its wet then go for sunnys

I did a track day on a set of Proxie t1r's they were shit hot. And I had them down to 24/25psi. They were fine. P

Had Khumo's on my 206, thought they were shit tbh, got Proxies on the front now and they're much better, espc. in the wet.

its my trade and i use that size on my let pirelli p zero neros brilliant falkens r middle range tyre gd valve 4 money toyos r gd but dnt last long quite soft but dnt get me wrong they r gd kumho like falkens reali

proxis are piss poor ime no good on anything with power tbh

vredestein ultrac sessanta are a very good all round tyre tbh as are the very cheap but awesome performing Nexen N3000 tyres

My t1rs stick to the road when cornering hard. Even in the wet they handle very well!

Iv got a full set of rainsport 2's on my sport, properly epic tyres. They were about a fiver cheaper than the proxies in my size aswel

There brilliant, definatly stick with these for a while

I had the Eagle F1's on mine and there hands down the best tyre i have tried imo, replaced them with yoko's and really regretted that, once the budget tyre's on my new sri run down i shall be going with eagles again

Eagle F1 is the best around if you can find them. Brilliant tyres.
