Our very own Jambo said on facebook he had seen a ufo - so I just googled 'ufo' on youtube over the last 24 hours and it's full of ufo sightings. The news are saying it was russian rockets re entering the atmosphere burning up...

Yeah the first two are obviously something entering the atmosphere but the last two? Strange...second one with the close up is very good footage

Looking at the colour balance, if they were Chinese lanterns they would be a much more red colour, as they are there, to the human eye they would have looked almost blue as the white balance of the footage is daylight balanced.

looks like a raindrop on the lens and then he looked at the light through that raindrop creating that hazy glow around it.

What the light is... no idea

Those last two are definitely NOT lanterns. They don't emit anywhere near that much light

The last 2 could be the friction off the object, a bit like when a jet fighter goes through the sound barrier.

Would still freak you out a bit if you saw it yourself lol.
