I got told I couldn't collectively refer to a group of people as guys once because it was sexist.

It's a bit weird that as the singular meaning of guy is a man as far as I know, but then if you refer to a group it could be female or male.

Oh and you should be playing rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock. I bet you wouldn't be so confident of winning then.

"Hey guys and gays" is another office favourite.

Apart from when the one gay guy is actually there.
