to be honest i would get the engine in first and running right before spending money tuning it, have you heard the engine run before you got it?

decide how much you want to spend tuning it and that will decide your spec.

For low budget:

- Straight through system, 2.75" is good
- Bigger intercooler
- Get those boost pipes good. Hard pipes with minimal bends
- 7 gauge plugs, Cosworth ones are good.
- Some sort of chip, EDS P2/ Evo 5 should see you to 280bhp on a nice strong turbo around 13-18psi.

Higher budget:

- Walbro 255
- Hybrid KKK or bigger
- STANDALONE MANAGEMENT!

Cant stress standalone enough as when you start touching 290/300bhp its no longer fun or easy!

What I meant was you can run the standard fuel pump and get 280bhp, it's not vital to low cost tuning on these.

ok thanks chaps its in the corsa now running so just going to enjoy and do bit by bit.
It has the xe cam n vernier pully on inlet side john n i think intercooler n pipes with minimal bends should be my next step aswell as exhaust!! the ecu has apparently got a phase 2 chip aswell so me thinks pipes n exhaust n see how we go
