I've got a 1.2 8v corsa engine with a 4 speed gearbox sat in my garage doing nothing but ive Got a c16xe in my corsa at the minute. I'm just wondering if I could use the 4 speed gearbox on the c16? has anybody ever done this? What was it like ect?

cant see it will live long or even be nice for motorways, whats the car used for?

maybe hes thinking the ratios are shorter than the box on his c16

Because the box I'm runnin at the minute is shagged and I'm skint atm, so just for the time being I was thinking of using the 4speed? Only use the car for to get to and from work? Will the radios be shorter?

Could do but its probably fairly rated fairly low and won't handle that engine at full torque.
F10-4 WR I think, 4.53 final drive. Fourth in that box is 0.89 which is the same as fifth in a F15-5 CR as in your GSi, final drive being 3.74 on that box. If the FD were interchangeable and you swapped them it would give you same ratios exactly in top.
Probably wouldn't feel nice getting there though!
