Saw this at my local garage the other day found out it needed some welding for the mot had a look underneath and wasn't majorly bad (weekend job ) runs perfectly was owned by an old man. It's a 1.5 n/a diesel with 104k on the clock.

Fair play for giving it a go mate, welding quality doesn't have to be great to get it through the mot lol. Do odd bits at work to get through mots seam sealer and underseal jobs a gooden.
