as above. I am going to buy a lwb high top transit and give it a go.
Has anyone ever done it who can give me advice on thier experiance? I cant imagine it been that difficult . Also what sort of price did it cost? who did you use for furnture etc

I've seen a few where they've bought an old caravan and just ripped all the furniture out of that and put it straight into the van.

Guy at my work was going to do it but he just bought a 54 plate transit already converted for 7/8k I think. Said it would work out cheaper. Got sofa bed thing, tv, electric point, fridge and little cooker and sink.

my mate has the older shape transit converted and i think he would sell it for a reasonable price.. only needs the bodywork tidying up but he did a good job inside

Guy came into my old work with a transit, looked in the back and there was a bed, drawers, shelves a cooker and a wood burning stove it even had a chimney!!! All the guys clothes were there so he must live in it
