after just havin my 6x9s and parcel shelf nicked, anyone got any ideas on where to easily hide some, not in the shelf, with minimal wiring

also when they nicked my speakers, the original wiring for the rear right speaker has dissapeared

any comments anyone

Put them in ur rear quarters, under ur rear side windows if u have a 3 door. 6x9's will just fit but they will still b on show but harder to take out. They'll also sound alot better in that position if u have a sub in ur boot.

put some fabric over the top of them, easy as pie, looks like there aint none in there, but still sounds good

would still advise a stealth shelf... nothing visible on top of the shelf at all... plus they are more sturdy than the original ones......

surely a stealth shelf just shows you have sumthing to hide, and in my case the buggas know i like my speakers. i think im just gonna replace the front speakers instead. but then again i nead a new Head Unit first as the twats had that out of my car today

get some speaker cloth from maplins, and build your 6 be 9s into your existing shelf possibly with some MDF underneath, then cloth it nice and tight on the top, looks proper mint, sounds brilliant.

Don't use 6x9s at all. Get better quality components and mount those in the rear qtrs.

was gonna get 6x9's but know that around my area they just get robs

seen a couple of ppl do wat JayC said...to put them in the rear sides.

jayc/gav, have got a corsa c, how do you mount/fix the 6x9's in the rear quarters? have got kenwoods sitting in mine collecting dust cos i dont want to ruin the parcel shelf and dont know where to put them.

your better of gettin a set of components and put them in the same place as the standard speaker.... no 1 can tell the difference and they will sound better
