Gasless is wank. Go find an old gas mig. Mines about 20yo and welds awesome!

Agreed about gasless, I went halves with a mate and bought a huge draper 180 amp welder for £200 off ebay. It does a cracking job and I found out it was £900 brand new so was pretty chuffed about that

I bought a SIP gas/gasless from Halfords a while back. Just takes little gas cylinders you buy from there, kind of expensive though in comparison to big cylinders so no good if you're planning on using it lots.

Same. Brilliant for car body work better than big expensive ones. Ideal for people who only need it once in a while..

Get one with variable feed, and ideally more than 2 power settings. Also gas isn't ideal for outdoors. Gasless wire is about £10 a roll, gas wire is £6 but then the gas at about £12 a bottle depending on what gas (C02, argon or a mix).
