Why not just turn it on normally when you get in the car?

Few threads on Astra owners club about how to do it
Obv ignore the mounting bits if you don't own an Astra but the wiring parts are there too.

Just be the same as hardwiring a road angel or similar?
Never done it before but will be possible, just need to tap into an ignition live. Might be more info if you search for hardwiring a road angel?

Yea but for it to come on with the ignition you need to strip the nav down, wont just turn on through putting the charger on a perm live, it's got something to do with the on/off button wiring etc

I thought they all are?
its wired through the ciggie lighter.
Ill get it out the car and find out for ya?
I suppose you could reloctate your ciggie lighter and plug in this satnav.
you also get a lead with voice control as well (i think) but Ive never used it
