What some people perceive as a minor crash can still be fatal, doesn't take much in these conditions

RIP.

suprised they haven't said the guy as speeding, as we all know young people who have nice fast cars can't behave when driving

It ended up on its roof. I wouldn't say that was minor although the damage doesn't look too bad.

I wouldn't call that a minor crash if it has been on its roof.

Only need to land on a tree stump or have a branch come in while you're passing it, head injury, easily done. I would guess excess speed is a factor although he could be within the limit and still going too fast for the conditions if its a rural road with mud on.

Either way RIP, always especially sad when its avoidable.

In other news - link underneath that article to a guy died in an overturned Golf and beneath that an overturned Civic. Friday 13th.

That doesn't look minor either, it's rolled over, just doesn't look quite as bad as normal because it has no roof to be caved in.

the head rest hoops are roof over protection as is the frame of the windscreen. Proven to be safe.

The problems are A ) if he wasn't belted in or B ) as mentioned, it rolled onto something

The fact the drivers door is dented just below the window linear indicate that something was hit there, and the car slid over this killing the driver.

Never nice for someone to die, regardless of circumstances. RIP

The verges on the road look pretty built up too, they can act like ramps causing a car to roll over even at a relatively low speed. I saw a 4x4 which I was following end up on it's side when it swerved up a bank on a country lane going at something like 40mph.

Seatbelt not cut and no visible blood. I'd say he was thrown from the car because of no belt
