My cousin lives in Norway, and he said its expensive,I remember him telling me about a car At the time it was about £4000 over there and you can get 1 for about £1500 over here, when he comes to England he buys things thats expensive and takes some food back that he can't get in norway

here in norway they have this amazing idea making big cars to vans.. getting a 2 seater land rover discovery costs about 60000 pounds.. if you want the back seats also you need to pay at least 60000 to 70000 pounds extra just for the seats...

is it not because of the exchange rate and the fact Norway has mental high taxes?

whats stopping people doing what the polish do and flying here, buying a car and driving it back?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the minimum wage in Norway around double that of Britain's? (so around £12 per hour)

my friend lives in norway and him, his wife and 2 kids all wear glasses

they get ferry across, spend a week here, get 8 pairs of glasses made up at specsavers, and go home after a week in scotland and are better off then buying 8 pairs over there

he used to buy karcher power washers everytime he was here (6-7 times a year) and sell them on for almost double the price, paid for his crossings

import taxes on the car

my mate had a focus took off him that he didnt declare he owned (bought over here as a left hooker)

he bought a big jag here last year for 8k, said it cost something likr 6k to import into the county, but would have cost 30 there, so worth doing

Whole reason JeePs don't do well. In USA they are cheap as chips here they are similar price to competition and thus lose out.

Crazy price for insignia etc

then folk will have to pay thousands to register them....

Its the tax thats costs heaps, not the actual car.

Friend bought a SL55 AMG thing from germany for £30k..... then had to pay about £65k to register it in Norway.

The commercial 2seat (green plates) seems a funny one I have friends with huge chevys with just the front seats
