Got a significant Birthday coming up & was thinking about hiring something exotic for a day or 2.

Anyone done this before?

Not wanting to spend loads <500 & not interested in a track day experience type thing.

they have to run/fix/pay for the car...... and i doubt they'd get a lot of business at that price!

You're looking at roughly at least a grand for a day, for a pretty decent super-car. Deposit could be around 3-5 grand as well.

TBH if the options either hire a hall, a DJ & caterers & pay to entertain friends & family....or hire a Galardo for 24hrs I know what i'd enjoy more!!

Girl I know hired an R8 for 2 days. £2000 deposit and cost her £500 for the car before fueling it. Had a mileage limit too, not sure what though.

Depends if it's your fault, I imagine. obviously most companies are very strict. no smoking, don't burn out the tyres etc etc etc
