Keep thinking of replacing my M3 with one I have seen for sale

Mine needs quite a bit of TLC to get it up to scratch which equates into a lot of cash.
I wanted a red one intially and could not find one for love nor money. Then when I finally got mine, as it always happens a reasnably priced red one appeared for sale
It has a hardtop etc. Which is great and looks flawless.

Now financially it makes sense to bin mine, and purchase this one. It would cost me the difference in a hardtop and thats it. (which im planning anyway) So what do i do? I know mine is solid mechanicaly, just needs accumulator replacing and its spot on. I wanted a project but this is a bit much. Needs whole new interior new rear window, new lock barrell, new headlight glass, new foglight etc. All adds up.

The Red one for sale is manual though and im after SMG, but I could live without it.

What to do

SMG is manual, its just sequential with an electronic clutch. Very misunderstood gearbox with lots of internet about it.

Its fantastic doing full throttle gearshifts, sequentially.

Stick with the black one. Will start loving it more once progress is made. Unless you are like me and mega impatient so want it all now.
