another one of jeds daft trading stories...

the mrs to be sold a corner unit via ebay (buy it now, cash on collection)
they arranged to pic it up earlier tonight at 6...
at about 6.10 i seen a silver 3 door focus driving around my street looking lost. so i went out to see if it was him and he said yes... came down the side of the house to help me carry it out to the car (in two pieces) he said to me he wasn't sure how much it was as hes picking it up for a family member. so i said '£X on collection pal' he said 'no probs' got the money out the car and gave me it, all was well and he left.
a further 10 mins later someone turned up in a red modus saying they've come to pick it up
i explained all of the above and they genuinely looked confused. said they had agreed they were coming at 6 and apologised that they were late.

dont know lol, i got the money for it. whats the chance someone was in the area picking something of similar description up for a friend though? haha
told the real buyers im sorry and that if he realises hes picked up the wrong thing il refund him and they can have it

i have no way of contacting the people who actually took it though
