Well took a deposit on my DC5 earlier after a fun filled 18 months of ownership.
Out with the old..
Soon to be replaced by something like this
Few people on here have owned 182's now, what do you make of them?

Brilliant little cars and it will feel like a little go-kart compared to the more spacious dc5. Wont be as quick but they are fun on the twisties and are well spec'd.

Reason for the swap is financial and to get myself on the property ladder. Done very well with selling the DC5 and splitting the parts out of it and will have a pretty penny left at the end of it all.

Like said they are decent machines, not a too shabby place to be, decent handling and much fun !
If I was looking for a little "hot hatch" it would be the one I would go for, good all round.

I think the speedline turinis are a must on these. Suit them much better than the standard 182 wheels.

Thinking back the only thing that let my ownership experience down was the lack of grunt not nearly as quick as they should be and gutless on the motorway.
BUT The best handling car I've ever driven (on Exalto's) and easy 35mpg = Win

It's not designed for Mways it's a town car!
Could do with a little bit more grunt. Just a bit lower down torque

Yeah but tend to drive on motorways now and again
I would imagine a turbo'd or supercharged 182 would be pretty much the perfect car, if you didn't need extra room obviously. Wouldn't mind driving a Meganne F1
