well my saxo needs a new rear wheel bearing, new axle bush's and while its off the road im going to fit my vts gearbox. so i needed a car to get to work and back but i wanted to get a car i've always wanted so i had a good look and i found one for £500 so went to view it, i offered £300 he excepted an took it away.

car in question snowy pic:

its only a 2.0l 8v, its done 106k got mot till july past its last mot with no advisorys and in the week i've owned it, it hasn't put a foot wrong yet dealt with the snow no problem. oh and it hasn't got ANY rust at all which is a big thing on calibras as most people know, even had it on the ramp at work and its solid.

cleaned it today since the weather was decent:

Looks good! We still have one my dad uses it, had it 5 years and only needed spring and new exhaust gasket. 16v ecotec got it for £500 in the metalic purple blue.

im just suprised at the fact theres no rust at all, ill get it back on the ramp this week and take a few pictures to show just how little rust there is on it, for £300 i can't complain at the 8v thing tbh but then its cheap and easy to work on.
