Is there such a function with the iPhone or if not the Balcberry torch that you can have a PC emulator?
I used to have one for my N95 and it was handy.
What i mean is a "virtual" phone on your pc which you control that controls your phone. I.e so I can send texts from my Pc, read them delete. Add/remove contacts etc
Anybody know?
Phone will be wired.

There's one for SMS that I've used before, can't remember the name but it was accessed through the web browser.
Found this though; http://www.myphonedesktop.com/
EDIT: You could also install a VNC server onto the phone and connect to it that way.
Similar software to myphonedesktop; http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/

Install Veency on the iPhone
Use iFunBox / USB Tunnel to create a local IP address without connecting to the wireless
Ultra VNC Viewer to view and control the phones screen

Once you have Veency (look under Cydia) installed on your iPhone, you can then access it using any VNC viewer (TightVNC etc) like you would with desktop/laptop (does require wireless to be switched on and you connect using the iPhones IP address).
Otherwise there is www.myphonedesktop.com, never tried it though.

This. Although I used iFunBox to use TCP/IP over USB. Makes it a lot smoother than using it over wireless.
