Won't make a difference.
Was it Police or council issued or a private car park?

If they have a photo there'll be no escape. I managed to get away with one a while ago on an older car because they got the reg wrong. Was something like VO03 but they put VOO3 or vice versa, never heard anything since (5 years ago or so)

Bin the ticket then wait for a letter through the post, if they've not got a photo you can claim its a mistake / cloned plates on another make of car.

It was at a shopping centre, think they have a private company for their carparks, not sure if they have a photo tho!

If its a private company, ignore it. Don't reply to ANY letters that they send.

if she's committed an offence, man up and pay for it.

Why should she pay it? If it was council or Police, i'd agree. The sneaky parking company can poke it.
