I see nothing wrong with this! there is no rule to say you have to beat the man as quickly as possible, if he choose's to end a fight in a certain round for financial gains that should be allowed.
"I can say, 'right, I'll stop this kid in round five'. If I'm good enough to do that then fair enough.
Peoples opinion on this?

A further smear on boxing imo.
A fight should be 2 men going all out to win, no game plans to make other people win bets or any other sideshow.

technically it's insider knowledge, and betting with information not available to the general public which isnt allowed.
It happens, i just don't understand why people come out and say they do it. Stupidity IMO
I think it is illegal also

it isn't insider knowledge, no more than Rooney saying i'm going to score in the 80th minute. You can always be one good punch away from having your career ended, no matter how bad a shape the other guy is in

I think the issue comes in boxing is if you have won by round 3, you could prolong round 4 and then go for a KO in round 5.

I think its wrong and puts Boxing in a very bad light.
Its 'Match' fixing, plain and simple. Hes either boxing as a sport or hes taking part in partitally fixed event for financial gain.
Its no different to a snooker player fouling after X minutes because their brother has a bed on to say that. If that happened the snooker player would be banned very quickly
