i have screws on my front discs, but they literally just to stop the disc spinning when you put wheel on and try to line up the holes.

the screws have been missing on mine for about 5yrs now and its not been an issue

might be different on a lexus though?

when you spin the wheel though, it sounds like it rubs on a certain side of it

it might be nothing but best to get it checked before I do 1000miles in it in the next 10 days!

Retaining screws are just there to hold the discs in place, you have studs so its easier putting the wheel back on.

Dont waste your time taking it in its perfectly fine.

The retaining screws sometimes seize solid and have to be drilled out, i dont Bother putting them back in now.

Perfectly fine mate. More movement on one side is due to the caliper holding it tight on one side, bolts move because the hub bearing isn't attached to the caliper and again thats holding the disc
