The guys I go with are going Weds to Monday and our daughter is only 4 months old now (and we have a 3 year old too) so I could kind of understand where the missus was coming from tbh.

Still pissed me off for a day tho lol.

well i think its very inconciderate of her

im going thursday morning till monday, could only get a 12:30 ferry so will have to be up early
better than hanging around till 6pm for the next ferry though

booked for blue nord, but on reserve for karting north, said 99% get in there, also on reserve for houx, thats where my mates are i was a bit late in booking, number 15 on the list so may get in there

apparently houx annexe can be a bit rowdy with cars getting damaged but im sure that just a myth as we are all car enthusiats

Hmm we were fine last year and we pitched right on the corner between main gate and toilet block so you can imagine the noise! but you wouldn't go to a 24 race without expecting a poor nights sleep! There was a 355, a GT40, some sort of racing Porsche etc. all near us so if its safe enough for them, its safe enough for us in our Jap crap!

yeah noise is a must would complain if there wasnt any tbh
been ten years since i went last i was 18 wonder how much its changed, remember the shower/toilet block consisted of four toilets and showers in the field we were in, ques were miles long

Can't remember the company name, but several of the sites are now managed by the company who ran the camp site at Britcar, and it was really well organised - more than enough showers, toilets etc available even at 'peak' times.

Won't be going this year, but it's on the 'to-do' list in the future. Birthday's the 18th as well so would be an ideal birthday trip one year!
