Watched this this morning. Pretty cool.
Will be interesting to see pics of everywhere with the posters and awareness 20th April too.
They could do with some downloadables on their website tbf, if they want it to work rather than people paying $30 for it all.

Too true. To be honest, I give to the RSPB and Guide Dogs Trust every month because I really care for animal welfare but have never been that interested in human welfare, until I watched that video. Sat and watched the whole thing from start to finish and it's so inspiring and eye opening. Its all for a good cause regardless of views so why not donate? It's fuck all too, like a tenner or something.

19,800,000 results for Kony 2012.
Will be interesting to see if that rises much.

Shit like this has been going on for years. It may be wrong, but worst stuff goes on and will continue to go on.
Nobody seemed to care before this. But then Facebook was not around before.

That's the point I think.
People too busy thinking about themselfs to care but atleast if they do all this and people just jump on the bandwagon something good might come out of it.

So this guy steals black kids from 3rd world countries away from their parents?
Doesn't Angelina Jolie do this already?

Just goes to show the power of the internet.
Remember a few years ago with those yellow rubber bands for that cyclist who had cancer? Everyone was bitching about them but it's all for a good cause.

was thinking about this when i watched machine gun preacher the other day. no other countries will get involved, sadly theres no value in it. what needs to happen is someone needs to find a massive oil reserve in the country, USA will quickly declare war against him

'ahem'
"Last year, the organization spent $8,676,614. Only 31% went to their charity program - Also the guy in the video takes a $90k salary from it, plus gets all his expenses paid for such as food / travel / accommodation etc."
http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/qlqcq/the_kony_2012_campaign_is_a_fraud/
Personally, I don't care either way if it is or isn't, but it was a clever piece of propaganda, with the filmography, the music, the child, the crying, the aspects of social media etc.
The thing that bothers me about it, is how easily people are brain washed into 'caring' about something that ultimately they didn't give a shit about a day ago, after just watching one video and not investigating it themselves or drawing their own conclusions
The whole thing reminded me of Al Gore's Climate change film and that also had the problem with people being brainwashed and just jumping on the band wagon without coming to their own conclusion either.
