Well, if you don't know I work at macys.
I am on my letter of intent, just because of no shows. I work stupid hours, they are all over the place, sometimes I will start at 5am, other I will start at 5pm.
I am meant to be full time but I have 4 days off next week!! ahh!!
I just want a new job so badly, but I dont know what I am good at and dont know what I enjoy. I have tried looking online but all I seem to find in Exeter is Manager jobs!!
I hate customers and hate retail.
Warehouse job would be ideal or delivery. But cant even find that. Or something outdoors. Didn't know job searching was so stressful.
any sensible advice would be appreciated.

You're pretty screwed i'm afraid Doyle. You have a job, that in fairness pays pretty well and has good opportunities to progress, but you obviously can't be arsed putting any effort into it. Shit or not, they employ you, you work the hours. I did 2 years in McD's and worked my balls off even though it was a shit job.
There's not much out there at the moment, I assume you've tried agencies? They usually have shitty manual work to offer.

Oh and if your next employer phones up McDonalds and asks what you were like etc, you're going to be majorly fucked when they say you're a no show from time to time.

I might be getting promoted soon to a crew trainer, I am currently on £5.10 an hour, I am 21 in 3 weeks, which means I will be on £6.15 an hour, crew trainers are on £6.20
After that its shift manager, I dont want to be a manager at McDonalds.
No, I havn't tried job agencies.

How do you live off that money if part time?
Did you get sacked from Apple?

go round all the warehouses and places that you want to work, ask to speak to someone in charge who you can discuss potential job opportunities with and give them a CV.
"looking online" basically means youve done fuck all to find a new job

That's actually very poor, a crew trainer on £6.20? Surely not?

Have you seen the management at maccy ds? they definately dont promote you for being an excellent employee. It seems your ranking gets higher if you have less friends. Around here anyway, all the managment types seem like steriotypical retards/sadacts/gimps

Search properly, if you want it bad enough and are willing to put in an effort, there's always apprenticeships to be had. Nothing comes free. Suck up the shitty pay for the time it lasts and take a step in to society.
