Be a real big shame to break a car that used to look so good. You should sell it as a whole as an unfinished project and hopefully someone will pick it up and put it back to its former glory.

Forgive me, but who of sound mind would sell a car for less as an unfinished project (it won't be worth as much as whole) just because it used to be nice?
