Taken from a mates FB, but I also noticed this camera when out on my travels the other day.

Any ideas?

Has a RADAR under the camera and an iR counter at the base, so my guess would be traffic survey on number of vehicles, speed of them and the camera to look back at what vehicles were traveling at what speeds.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Cheers, I was assuming it would be a traffic monitor / counter of some sorts, but whether it's monitoring / able to record speeds was more my concern

Seems a bit of a bodge though!

Excersize your right under the data protection act to see what they hold on you in regards to the camera.

There is one of them thats been put up just further down the road from my house, looks like one of the house owners has put up some makeshift CCTV or summat
