It's been 6 years almost to the day I had my last one done, i'm going back to the same studio and having a Swallow (awaits the puns) on my left side, I guess it sounds a bit vague but all will become clear i'm sure. nipping in to put deposit down this weekend then it'll be done the first week in April, all being well. It'll be £300 and take about 3.5hrs she reckons as i'm having loads of detail put in as I find that's what I appreciate in a tattoo.
Watch this space.

To be fair i'd rather pay £100 an hour to get it right than £10 an hour to get it wrong.

Well yeah that makes sense, but 300 for a swallow, must be pretty big and well detailed for that sort of price

Its worth what someones willing to pay at the end of the day. She's apprentice of Leah who did my original Koi and Leah tried out 50 other artists before she settled on Sofie so thats good enough for me.

Not sure anymore, when I had my koi done 6 years ago she was £50 per hour, the whole scene has got more 'fashionable' since then so prices have gone up and 6 years ago she had not been tattoing for many years so her fee's were reflected in that.

Some of them portfolio pics look naff but then the one 2nd from right 3rd row from bottom looks good. I think it's hit and miss and their good and bad days are reflected on your skin forever. It's the gamble you take IMO

That carp looks really good, the lines are straight and very even.
