just put a 1600 in to my 12v shell got everything working bar speedo do i need the 16v clocks before the speedo will work? the speed sensor in the gear box was fine before the conversion but now it cuts out sometimes when you dip the clutch any ideas?.. the blue/red wire is connected for the dash cause im sure the immobliser wouldnt turn off if it dosnt get a signal from speed sensor

It's because your old shell was a 3 cylinder you need a diffrent speedo sensor if your fitting sport clocks
