any way of telling what car an engine came out of from the code stamped on the block?

and while im on did all 'redtops' have the same font were the codes stamped onto the block?

Can't tell exactly what car it came from, but you can narrow it down.

And what do you mean by font? There wasn't a choice of Comic Sans or Times New Roman

well i was told its a early dizzy type out of a early astra GTE with coscast head and the block has '2.0X1125.....' and people are saying in my thread that the fonts not rite?
