My brother has a new cylinder head to put on his sport.
Is there anyway to distinguish between a X14XE and X16XE cylinder head?
Cheers

As far as I know the heads are exactly the same but only the bottom end is different. The newer heads have triangular ports? Does it not have a stamp on the head?

I got told a couple of years ago the ports were a bit larger on the 1.6's? Unless that was a load of crap
No there's no stamps on the head, ports are triangular though

X16 does have slightly larger ports than the X14 one. X14 was used on the X16XEL too. So don't go for that one.
