My employer has an adult learners week to get people to learn new skills but the courses are silly, learn to use a keyboard and mouse stuff like that.

So ive signed up for make bead jewelry course and got the day off. Trying to make the point maybe they should have things people actualy want to do. Anyone have anything like this at their place?

we had health and safety and diversity courses a while back.

a load of shit really, all common sense.

can complain though, got paid to come in late and sit in a room for a day.

All H&S courses are common sence.

tbh, they're better off doing the exam at the start and then running the course after for anyone who fails or needs further teaching.
